Professor Loredana Padurean

Loredana Padurean is the Senior Associate Dean at Asia School of Business (ASB), a collaboration between the MIT Sloan School of Management and Bank Negara Malaysia (the Central Bank of Malaysia), and holds an appointment of International Faculty Fellow at MIT Sloan where she also teaches in 3 executive education programs. The two-time winner of the Swiss National Science Foundation grant for young researchers have been developing collaborative relationships, projects and executive programs with over 250 companies in Southeast Asia and beyond.

Professor Loredana is also the Faculty Director for Action Learning and Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ASB. She has been an energizing force behind the establishment of the school and, in particular, the development of MIT Sloan-devised action learning programs in Asia, in collaboration with corporate partners in the region. Under her leadership, the Action Learning program at ASB was recognized repeatedly as one of the most innovative programs in the world. By her leadership the program won the MBA Roundtable Early Innovator Award.

Interests
Professor Loredana has working experience in the United States, India, Switzerland, Romania, Italy and Malaysia. She is an international keynote and TedX speaker that shared the stage with Steve Wozniak, Bob Geldof, ministers, deans, authors and public figures in the United States, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. Her most popular talk is “Nail it, Scale it, Sail it – An Entrepreneurial Journey” in TedX Cluj Napoca, Romania.
